Franco Smith’s Glasgow Warriors are riding a wave of momentum as they prepare to host the Vodacom Bulls in Saturday’s URC Semi-Final at Scottish Gas Murrayfield — kick-off 2:30pm, 6 June.
Glasgow booked their place in the last four by beating Connacht at Scotstoun, with Kyle Steyn named Man of the Match after a stunning two-try performance in a 33-21 victory.
The club captain has been in electric form at the business end of the season, and his ability to produce in the big moments will be crucial against a Bulls side that travels with serious intent.

It was on the half-hour mark against Connacht that Steyn showed his class — tracking down fly-half Josh Ioane with amazing speed to deny what appeared to be a nailed-on try just 25 metres from Glasgow’s line.
That kind of defensive heroics, combined with his lethal finishing, makes him one of the most complete and dangerous players in the competition.
Standing in their way is a Bulls team that arrives in Edinburgh via Pretoria — and they arrive in ominous form. Johan Ackermann’s men ran in six tries in a comprehensive 45-14 demolition of Munster at Loftus Versfeld to book their semi-final spot.
Scrumhalf Embrose Papier was the standout, taking Player of the Match after a two-try masterclass — he’ll be a key man to contain at Murrayfield.

Bulls coach Ackermann gets another opportunity to avenge a defeat he felt was unjust after his side fell to Franco Smith’s Warriors earlier in the season. Don’t expect the visitors to travel as tourists — this is a Bulls squad with a point to prove.
For the Warriors, the incentive couldn’t be greater. Should Glasgow prevail, they will also play the Grand Final at Murrayfield by virtue of their top-seed status — meaning a home final is on the line.
Due to popular demand, additional Category 1–4 seats have just been released for this weekend’s Semi-Final at Scottish Gas Murrayfield — but move fast, they won’t last long!
The Warriors are ready. The stage is set. Come on, Glasgow! 💙🏟️
