Swedish superstar Armand Mondo Duplantis has rewritten the history books yet again.
Competing in front of a home crowd at the Mondo Classic in Uppsala, the 26 year old cleared 6.31 meters to secure his 15th world record. Duplantis looked untouchable throughout the night, clearing 5.65m, 5.90m, and 6.08m all on his first attempts.
Once the victory was sealed, he moved the bar straight to the record height and soared over on his first try, as reported by European Athletics.

This performance marks his 38th consecutive victory, a streak that dates back to August 2023. By clearing 6.31m, Duplantis has now surpassed Sergey Bubka for the most world records set in the discipline.
The Swede has made a habit of raising the bar by a single centimeter at a time, a strategy that continues to pay off for the double Olympic champion. Norway’s Sondre Guttormsen finished second with a clearance of 6.00m, according to Flashscore.
Duplantis is now shifting his focus to the World Indoor Championships in Poland next week, where he seeks a fourth straight title.
